Our Facility

Humane Alliance operates in a 13,000-square-foot facility that we purchased and renovated in 2008. This much-needed move into a larger building that was specifically designed for clinic and training operations was made possible by grants of $1 million each from our long-term partners, the ASPCA and PetSmart Charities.

The facility contains six identical surgical suites and kennel space for 250 companion animals. When designing our floor plan, we paid a great deal of attention to maximizing the space available, creating efficient work flow for our staff and visitors, and forming surgical suites that would allow trainees to truly experience clinic operations in a one-vet practice space.

In addition to the medical facilities, our training center includes a classroom to accommodate up to 100 visitors, as well as offices for our administrative staff. We also offer free housing to participants in our veterinary externship training program, so our two dormitory rooms accommodate up to four vet externs at a time.
